Hi, I’m
Alicia Rule.
My family has lived in Whatcom County for 5 generations. I first ran for office to make my community a better place. I wanted to use my background as a social worker and small business owner to help our community, families and neighborhoods. I did it in Blaine as a city councilmember and past president of the Blaine Downtown Development Association, and in Olympia as a State Representative. And now, I am running for re-election to the State House because Whatcom County deserves more. We must address homelessness in our communities and increase support for behavioral health concerns. I have the proven track record of delivering for our families, neighborhoods and communities. In Olympia we reduced taxes on small businesses, increased housing working families can afford and services for the homeless. I brought funding for behavioral health, and worked closely with police to improve public safety in our communities.
